Progress can be wonderful. However, movement in the wrong direction can be counterproductive. The discussion on biotech ethics must crystalize into a set of reasonable principles that will serve mankind's future.
Basic biotech ethics must insure the protection of life and being in its God-intended state. What this means is that we must not further degrade what remains of human bio-existence and; further, we must not substitute our standards of quality for God's standards of quality.
